Unlike its 3D counterpart, the mobile version of Sonic Unleashed is a side-scrolling platformer, with elements like loops and underwater sections that the player can enter (without falling into a bottomless pit) and traverse, although the playable characters will eventually drown if they stay underwater for too long. Regardless, Sonic defeats this robot and gains the yellow and orange Chaos Emeralds, thus foiling Eggman's plans for good. However, using the "power of Gaia", Eggman unleashes his " most powerful robot" on Mazuri. Having been defeated in Greece, Eggman flees to "other parts of Europe." Sonic subsequently chases Eggman to Spagonia, whose boss drops the white Chaos Emerald.Įggman's Badniks soon after take over the city of Mazuri, in the "Middle East", where Sonic acquires the purple Chaos Emerald.
